The place is huge.
Cool preserved industrial area in Essen
I spent a few hours here with some brazilian people I met in the hostel. It was a pretty cool place, huge and quiet and peaceful.

...yeah, the first time down the hill, that was kinda scary...we didn't even know that the sled would slide on what little snow there was. But, it did work out well, no damage. I told Mason that I cleared off the fields at the farm, and if we get a good snow, then we should have some awesome sledding out there. Mason thinks the purple plastic toboggon is at his mom's place. There should be a wooden toboggon somewhere, as well. Anyway, anything that slids should be fun. Remember when we all got on the car hoods and were pulled up by Jerry's snowmobile? Hopefully, we can take advantage of some of that winter fun stuff when you are here. Take care.
